Week commencing 13th July

This is the last week of home learning, it is almost the end of the school year already! Well done for keeping up with your learning in this very strange time, I am proud of each and every one of you. I hope that you all have a lovely summer break and I will see you back at school in September in year 3.

See you all soon,

Miss Drayton

Maths

This weeks topic  - Measure and time

You can still see the videos via this link but the worksheets are no longer available, so I have attached them underneath. Please let me know if there are any problems with this, either via the email address or in the comments section.

English

This week is a chance to catch up on any learning that you have missed. If you have finished all of the sessions (well done) perhaps you could write about something in year 2 that you have enjoyed. Perhaps you might choose our Christmas play, our trip to the M-Shed or something that you have enjoyed doing this year.

This week we are going to use the same website and complete the next set of lessons: https://www.thenational.academy/online-classroom/year-2/english#subjects

This has a video with the learning on for each day, hopefully you can see how it is similar to how we do our learning in the classroom. There is a lesson for each day for you to do. Make sure you go down the page a little bit until you can see these lessons, click on them in order, make sure you have your book ready to do the learning, while watching the video.

Music - This week you are going to learn about Vivaldi

Visit this website, watch the video and complete the tasks underneath.
