Family Trees

 As part of our celebrations for Black History Month we have been thinking about our identity and belonging. We have talked about the people and communities that are important to us and to bring all of these thoughts and learning together we have created our own family trees. Here are some photos of the children using water colours to paint their trees. We will add the names of our family members to them when they are dry.

Thank you so much to everyone who has helped their child to learn more about their families past, I can't wait to see them when they are finished! Year 2 will bring them home for half term so you can see them too!
