Oliver Twist

This term we have been learning about the author Charles Dickens, with a particular focus on one of his most famous books Oliver Twist.
First we spent time learning about how some children lived in Victorian times.
It was not very well!
Next we invented our own versions of the story. We thought carefully about how we could change the characters and settings.
Here are some pictures of the children with the stories they have written. They are very proud of their efforts!
